Ongredients Deep Calming Repair Cream 50ml

I'm oily, but from this year I developed severe dryness underneath and became dehydrated-oily. The lotion isn't bad, but over time it got greasy and itchy so I couldn't wear it in summer. In summer toner alone was fine, but with this one I can wear the lotion and the cream on top and still be fine. (Reviewed in South Korea)

Oh — the texture is thick, but the moment you scoop it with the spatula and put it on your hand it melts away. It doesn't go on thick at all. There's a slightly oily feel, so oily types should avoid it and dry to very dry skin will love it. I don't even get oil in my T-zone, so this will be my holy-grail cream. My skin is a drought — I have to apply jojoba oil separately. I never repurchased another brand's thick barrier cream because it was so heavy it was hard to spread, so it's remarkable that a thick cream doesn't apply thick. (Reviewed in South Korea)

The texture is buttery, but spread the right amount and it disappears into the skin straight away. I'd stockpiled the Ongredients lotion because it made my skin texture soft rather than just glowy, but for dry skin the lotion's own hydration was lacking, so for a while I only used heavier creams. Then I happened to see the online discount for the Seongsu popup and thought the cream would be worth a go, so I bought it to mix with the lotion. It was running out and the timing of the sale was perfect, so I bought a new one. This is my third jar. As you'd expect from a thick texture, it lays down a proper oil-based moisture barrier. No stickiness, of course, and surprisingly it finishes matte with almost no shine. Another unexpected plus is that such a heavy texture washes off with water alone — I think that's why it doesn't clog pores. I get so dry I break out from it, and if I layer my base steps and seal with this at the end, my skin turns smooth and isn't dry at all in the morning. I use it all year except summer. It lifts your skin condition overnight. Denser and springier than the lotion. On nights when my skin is especially sensitive or dry, I pile it on before bed and my skin texture is visibly different by morning. It feels like a thin coating rather than stickiness, so I worry less about it transferring to my pillow. The calming effect is excellent — I feel like I've found my holy-grail cream!
